Play Cards, Signs, and Speed

LORAS COLLEGE- Back in 2008 the Oregon Ducks decided to start a new form of play calling when their hand signals had been interpreted by the opposing team. The Duhawks recently started using the same form of relaying plays to the athletes out on the field, and they have only seen success.

The idea is that each card and hand signal represents a different play or route and each player knows what they have to do when they see a certain picture.

Freshman Quarterback Nolan Baumhover has only good things to say about the new system and believes that the success that the offense has been seeing is due to the cards.
