Loras Serves Up a New Tennis Court

Friday evening proved to be an exciting venture for all Loras tennis players, not because of what they served up on the courts, but the courts served to them.
After a long-overdue measure to repair and restore the Loras tennis courts, the time finally came for them to be officially dedicated.

Friends and family of the college came together to celebrate the first official season on Loras’ new tennis courts.

The project was a part of the college’s campaign to raise over 105 million dollars.

The event included speeches from both director of athletics Denise Udelhofen and President Jim Collins.

The courts were blessed by Father Wathier and the night closed with a scrimmage of both the men’s and women’s tennis teams.
