Fighting Saints cruise over rival Blackhawks

DUBUQUE, IA – The Fighting Saints put their 5 game win streak on the line against rival Waterloo. Both teams joined in on the parade to the penalty box committing 21 infractions for a combined 86 penalty minutes, nonetheless both teams lit the lamp a combined 12 times. Trey Dodd led the Saints with 2 goals and an assist while Brett Boeing added 2 goals himself. Other Saints who lit the lamp included Sasha Larocque, Dylan Gambrell, Jacob Benson and Willie Knierim.

The Saints took the game 8-4 and extending their winning streak to 8 games the following night at Cedar Rapids, another Cowbell Cup rival.
