DUBUQUE- With the exponential heat, and above average rain this summer, farmers in the midwest are having a field day. Due to the weather, yield has had an outstanding growing rate.
Bob Beswick, a local farmer, says that “It’s been a good year there’s no doubt about that…we’re gonna have a really big crop.”
You can be the best farmer out there, but if the weather does not cooperate, it will make work a little harder.
“Farming is all mother nature. You can do everything right and if it rains hard at the wrong time or hails at the wrong time, it doesn’t make a difference. Mother nature makes it.”
