The Loras Men’s Volleyball team had an MCVL match against the Greenville Panthers Saturday afternoon. Returning to Lillis Court for the second to last time, the Duhawks looked to improve their record against the Panthers before the end of the season. The Duhawks started off strong with dominating spikes from Dylan Ross and Aaron Miller taking the first set 25-17. The Duhawks were up early in the second set but could not hold on with a late push from Greenville taking it 25-23. The teams continued to battle back and forth bringing the series to a 5th set. Set 5 needed extra volleyball to be decided but a two-point spurt from the Panthers finished the Duhawks 21-19. The Duhawks will have their last match of 2017 next Saturday against Olivet at 3 p.m. for Senior Day.
