NAPERVILLE, IL – With National Titles on the line, 3 of the 6 Track and Field competitors wasted no time in claiming a spot in the top eight.
Sadly we weren’t able to make day one, but Elizabeth Brandenburg started off the weekend on a high note, with an eighth place, all-american finish in Pole Vault.
Junior Kylian Lally gave it all he got after qualifying for the final run of the Men’s 800. Keeping an even pace, Lally ran his way to a fourth place finish and all-american honors with a time of 1 minute 53 seconds.
But the Duhawk who stole the show claiming two more all american honors to her already impressive resume….Audrey Miller.
In the 5k, Miller placed third with a time of 16 minutes 52 seconds, shattering her own school record by nearly 20 seconds.
She returned in the 3k on day two and finished seventh in 9 minutes 46 seconds, breaking ANOTHER school record held by, you guessed it, herself.
