DUBUQUE- It’s championship week in the Iowa Conference and both the men’s and women’s track teams running just down the street at the University of Dubuque.
Loras had many outstanding participants in the two-day event including sophomore Audrey Miller who won both the 3 and 5,000 meter races. Miller broke her own record for the 5k by 6 seconds and the facility record by a whopping 37 seconds.
The Duhawks also earned All-Conference Honors for many of the relay races. The women’s 4×800 team captured 2nd with a time of 9:38 cutting their original seed time by 58 seconds to also claim All-Conference Honors. As or the men, Kylian Lally brought home the win in the men’s 4×800 as well with a final time of 7:54 seconds.
Adrienne is currently a junior at Loras College from Byron, Illinois. She is a reporter for LCTV News and staff writer at the Lorian. When she's not reporting or editing her stories, Adrienne enjoys participating in choir and campus ministry events. After graduation, she hopes to work as an editor in creative video production.
