DUBUQUE – With kids back in school, Dubuquers can expect more bus traffic on the streets. The School Board took steps to eliminate some traffic in front of Dubuque Senior High School by adding a bus lane.“We moved the existing bus lane and along with that project we are getting a lot of the traffic off of Clarke Drive which we hope is going to make it a lot safer for students to be dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon,” stressed Assistant Manager of Building and Grounds Charlie Clasen. The bus lane was the first completed renovation scheduled for the school. Senior will also be adding a new entrance, cafeteria, library and more. Those renovations are expected to be done by the end of next school year.
