Schultz Family Dentistry Collects Halloween Candy

If you’re feeling overwhelmed with candy after Halloween, Schultz Family Dentistry will take it off your hands!

On Monday, Schultz Family Dentistry collected candy from kids for a sweet trade of $2 per pound and for the chance to win a new bike.

The team collected candy to promote healthy oral hygiene, as well as for a great cause.

The candy collected will be sent to Operation Gratitude – a group that sends care packages to troops overseas.

Delila Healey, a dental assistant at Schultz, was involved with the project. “One of the things they are doing since its Halloween time is they are going to send a bunch of the candy over. We can send up to 50 pound packages at a time to them and then they repackage them and send them out. So, we will send toothbrushes, toothpaste, and a bunch of candy.”

Schultz had a great turn out – many kids were eager to give their candy away, with a total of 85 pounds collected.
