People enjoy foods from around the world at the Five Flags Center

DUBUQUE – People in Dubuque got to enjoy foods from all over the world in just one place this weekend.

The event was called “Taste of the World” and it was hosted by Dubuque’s Multicultural Family Center.

Celebrating the cultural diversity within Dubuque, there was food booths, youth cultural activities, and performances that represented over 20 different countries.

Participants received a passport and were able to track their progress around the world.

The event was free and open to the public.

Over 1,000 people attended.
