DUBUQUE – For some Duhawks, this weekend was more exhausting than usual. That’s because some spent a full 24 hours creating original plays.
It was part of the Loras College One Day Theater Project, which went from 7 PM on Friday into the evening on Saturday.
21 students participated in this event, getting locked in Hoffman Hall on the Loras campus for 24 hours. During this time they wrote, directed, and performed their own one-act plays.
At the end of the night, audience members could vote for their favorite team with a monetary donation. They were also encouraged to bring canned food items for a food pantry collection.
