DUBUQUE – Dress professional, become a professional. One local organization is helping residents with the final touch in landing the big job.
Tucked away on the lower level of Northeast Iowa Community College in downtown Dubuque, the Community Clothes Closet, which is sponsored by Women United, provides basic clothing needs to assist men and women seeking employment.
Madi Jantsch, Staffing Consultant for Express Employment, explains the impact of the organization when saying, “The clothing closet really helps people searching for jobs who don’t have the means or the resources to afford an outfit for the interview. People gain confidence, and they can go into an interview and feel good about themselves.
The Community Clothes Closet is open on Monday from 11:30a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday from 5:30p.m. to 7 p.m. and by appointment.
