Loras Students networking with Dubuque Professionals

Loras College Duhawks are working on their professional perspective with the help of local Dubuque Business.

The twelfth annual leadership luncheon took place last Wednesday in the Loras College Alumni Campus Center Ballrooms.

The Co-sponsored event was put on by the Loras College Center for experimental learning in collaboration with the Greater Dubuque Development Cooperation.

Featured four panelists from businesses including The Hammer Law Firm, Cottingham & Butler, Premier Bank, and the City of Dubuque.

Students were served a complimentary lunch and networking opportunities with professionals.

Facilitator Jeffrey Roberts expressed the benefits of attending this event.



“We give students opportunities, to not only network to get insight to into career success, and also network to get opportunities on internships as well as information on entry-level professional positions.”

 

The event wrapped up with the distribution of gift cards from Greater Dubuque Development President Rick Dickinson and closing comments.
