Cookin’ with Jazz: Homemade Salsa

Homemade salsa is a great snack to have around the house and is very simple to make. Below is my recipe for some salsa with a little kick! Bring it out for a party or a delightful afternoon snack!

2 cans diced tomatoes
4 cloves of garlic
1 jalapeño
1 lime
1 medium onion
Herb (cilantro, parsley, basil)
Salt and pepper to taste

In a strainer over a bowl, drain the tomatoes and save the leftover juice. Roughly chop onion and jalapeño and add to food processor. Add the juice of the tomatoes, juice of the lime, herbs, salt and pepper to the food processor. Pulse those ingredients until blended. Add diced tomatoes and pulse until finely pureed. Add other spices as desired. Serve with chips and enjoy!
